Sussex based wedding photographer, Peter Prior has developed an international reputation for an exciting, unobtrusive, and relaxed approach to covering the wedding day. Living near the beautiful seaside town of Eastbourne, just 30 minutes east of Brighton, he has developed a distinctive style born out of his love of contemporary, artistic, imaginative, reportage and photojournalistic wedding photography.

Peter’s wedding imagery has been described as having a "certain timeless elegance".

Peter is recommended at The Grand Hotel, Eastbourne as well as other top wedding venues such as Wiston House, Ashdown Park Hotel, The Lodge on Loch Goil in Argyllshire, The Powdermills Hotel, Herstmonceux Castle, Goodwood House, Wadhurst Castle, Pelsham House, and The Spread Eagle Hotel in Midhurst.

He is available to photograph weddings worldwide. Size of wedding and distance are no object. Peter is happy to shoot weddings of all faiths as well as Civil Partnerships.

During his career, Peter has been the winner of over 60 national and regional awards including the prestigious title Cosmopolitan Bride Magazine Wedding Photographer of the Year and the SWPP Monochrome Photographer of the Year, he is in the envious position of earning a living following his passion for producing cutting edge wedding images. Peter was also one of only a handful of wedding photographers to achieve the title Craftsman of the Guild of Wedding Photographers.

Peter’s work has been published in all the leading bridal magazines, he is a frequent voice in titles such as Digital Photo Pro Magazine and his work has also been featured in the Rangefinder Magazine in the States. He is in demand for seminars and as a mentor, having been a key note speaker at two SWPP International Conventions and held a number of training workshops for aspiring and established wedding photographers.

He is the sole photographer and shoots fun and stylish, real life pictures which have been enjoyed by his clients worldwide.
